Think Twice Before Installing That Walk In Tub or Walk In Shower
We talk to a lot of people at CareProdx.com. A constant problem that arises for persons with diminishing physical abilities is a lack of foresight and forethought. So often people spend thousands of dollars for a walk-in tub or a walk-in shower that they can only use for a limited time.
If you cannot step over your bathtub wall anymore, the day will likely come when you will not be able to navigate the step up into a shower or walk-in bathtub. Think seriously about a barrier free shower. A shower that you know will be able to accept a rolling shower chair. Walk-in tubs and walk-in showers are very temporary solutions. Be warned and be aware.
