Hand-E-Tap®, the first programmable, ADA compliant access button built with Essex Piezoelectric Switch Technology. This extremely rugged, vandal resistant switch is designed to operate in a variety of high use, harsh, interior or exterior, industrial and commercial environments. Easy to use for all users including the sight, hearing or physically impaired. Essex Billion Cycle Switch Technology™ allows the switch to be operated with a light tap on any area of the switch even with a gloved hand, elbow or cane.

Essex Hand-E-Tap® switches can be used to control an automatic door, electric lock/strike or magnetic lock. They can also be used as a programmable switch in toggle mode to control an electrical device. Additional features include field programmable audio and LED control to provide switch activation feedback to the user.
